The Archeological Society of Maryland, Inc. (ASM) is a statewide organization of lay and professional archeologists devoted to the study and conservation of Maryland archeology. The ASM Mid-Potomac Chapter's primary focus is within Montgomery County, MD.
Please take a look around our site. It will give you an idea of who we are and what we do. Our Events Calendar is updated regularly and will let you know what we're up to next. If you find something that you're interested in please let us know as guests are welcome at most of our events. Even if you have no archaeology experience, but you are interested in going on a dig to see what it's all about, let us know. We have so many activities going on that we could always use a hand!
Our home page is brand new so we are in the process of updating content daily. Soon we will be adding documentation and pictures from our past activities as well as providing an online learning module where anyone can come to learn about archaeology. We hope you enjoy our page and make sure to come back often to see what's new with our chapter.
